Dude...

The instrument was the worst thing I ever heard. You might consider changing the instrument.
It sounds like shitting. :P

The rythem on the second half is also (badly orginaised).

aenmj responds:

Hehe, I know, right? This was the very first song I've created with fl9, while I did not know how to change tempo or whatever. I'm surprised it sounded this 'well'.

Good job!

I'm impressed by the poem. It took me two repeats to completely understand it's meaning.

Voice: 9/10.

The only con is maybe that your voice sounds broken, but yeah; it's hard to make it smooth.

Poem: 10/10.

Of course, it makes much sense once you understand it.

All I can say is keep trying to smooth your voice. I took my time writing this review. :\

Coop responds:

Battling being a little hoarse and not quite having the right equipment (a stand and pop-guard should help a lot) were my major downfalls here. I intend to read more on here, so stay tuned :D

Beautiful.

Just amazing how the rythem and the lyrics were organized. The words, perfect. It sounds peaceful, clean and well on set. However, I disliked that the two voices were really off. Once is low (that's good) but the other one had times with too much high pitches. Doesn't sound absolutely perfect to me. But overall, it's really good.

I suggest you to revise the pitches and maybe make it match a little bit (not to let them be way far from the master pitch).

VGSongbird responds:

I chose to do the octaves because the highest pitch is on the very edge of my high range, and I wanted to make sure the melody still had power to it by adding a lower octave. And I never auto-tune; it's not right for a choral piece. I'm sorry you didn't like it, but I probably wouldn't revise it. I'm content with the way it turned out ^_^

Thank you for your honest review!

Cool remix!

Although it's all 8-bit, it sounds really good!
Conclusion: full score (5/5 10/10)

MacMelto responds:

i'm glad you like it!

lol, poep?

The possibilities are endless! :P

Wow.

But the two main sounds were mixing my head into confusion. But after the beginning it was no longer confusing.
TUF (Thumbs Up Forever)

I just wonder why you never remix a Wind Waker melody?

ChaosDragon004 responds:

Im glad you liked it. I did make the Dragon Roost Island piece, it's called "Enter the Dragon".

Your talent is totally mind-blowing.

I just noticed from your 3 Song of Storms remixes:

This one: Tragic
Endless Rain: Calm
Eye of the Storm: Adventurous

A talented person like you is seldomly seen in this world (like 7%)
And as usual: TUF (Thumbs Up Forever)

ChaosDragon004 responds:

Yeah, I just love giving this song variety.

Yes, it is more adventurous.

Unlike "Endless Rain", this one marks like an encounter against the creator of the Song of Storms. Superb re-remix.
TUF (Thumbs Up Forever)

ChaosDragon004 responds:

Thanks bro.

Too bad that the beginning is annoying.

It's due to the harmorica. To some people, the sound would be hurting their ears, but the rest of the song is completely good (because the harmorica fades).
Also, you could change the name from "OTTHQ: The Windmill Hut" to "OTTHQ: The ??? Hut. Nintendo never gave out the name of the windmill. Windmill and Hut have a similar meaning (both refering to a wooden building), so your title is a little meaningless.
Hope you at least TAKE my advice.
But yeah, all that title talk was a little bulshit :(

Hoeloe responds:

I named the track after the one in the OoT Original Soundtrack. It was titled there as "The Windmill Hut".

Also, windmill and hut don't really have a similar meaning at all. A hut refers to a small, one-room building, and a windmill refers to a building which makes use of a wind power in order to turn "blades", originally used for milling (hence the term wind-mill)

Back to 1998.

Yeah, OoT was made in 1998, and now the most popular N64 game according to some. This is surely not stolen.

Reali-tGlitch responds:

I have the project file to prove it, if you don't believe I did this myself.
